We feel it is important to share our plans and response to the recent Delta variant surge of COVID, especially as many large events and trade shows taking place in the next few weeks have implemented vaccine requirements or proof of negative rapid tests.
We are currently monitoring all CDC guidelines, as well as requirements in Birmingham and the State of Alabama, understanding this is a very fluid situation and may change between now and Symposium dates in late October.
While it’s too early to confirm COVID policies, our planning process covers all contingencies. At the appropriate time, approximately three weeks prior to the start of Symposum, all attendees will receive specific instructions on the current situation in Birmingham, as well as all requirements and policies.
Sports ETA is fully committed to the health and safety of our attendees, vendors and staff. If you have specific questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Janis Ross, Vice President of ...

Access regulations requiring that transathletes compete against athletes of the same assigned sex at birth and requiring sex verification testing have been used. Proponents of such regulations regard them as necessary to ensure fai...
