Strategies, services, sales, and sponsorships- the 4S’s of sports events and tourism. These 4S’s are what the next Sports ETA 4S  Summit is all about. Registration is now open. The 4S Summit is taking place October 8-10 in Providence, Rhode Island.

So, why should you head to the northeast in October? Take it from someone who has been to two 4S Summits. Ryan Vogt is the National Sports Manager at Catch Des Moines and a CSEE graduate. He helps bring sporting events, meetings, and conferences to Des Moines. For him, learning about new strategies to be successful is going to help him.

The 4S Summit brings together your competitors for round table discussions. In Ryan’s experience, he says everyone is willing and able to share their experiences of what works and insights on events they have hosted. “It’s a great way to learn new ideas, but also hear about new events {which} could help determine whether or not they are a good fit for your city.”

After attending two 4S Summit’s (2017 & 2018), Ryan finds these to be great for networking. This summit is a smaller group compared to the Symposium in the spring, and Ryan views that as a positive thing. “It’s a short event so it doesn’t take your entire week, but I feel like you get to know the other attendees better than you do a large conference.” Plus, it can make for a great group trip with coworkers. “I think it’s beneficial to bring multiple members of our team to this so we can get as much content as possible.”

Get ready for another 4S Summit jam-packed with more content than one person can handle October 8-10 in Providence. Register yourself and team members today.

Thank you, Ryan Vogt, at Catch Des Moines for sharing your 4S Summit experiences.
