First Class of NASC Hall of Fame Inductees to be Recognized at 25th annual NASC Symposium

The NASC Hall of Fame Committee was established to honor those who play a vital role in the success and promotion of the NASC. The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to promote the professional management of sporting events and the sport tourism industry as a whole by honoring those individuals who exemplify the values of the NASC in their careers and by acknowledging their legacies to provide guidance for future members of the NASC.

To be considered, nominations must be received no later than December 1, 2016. Submit a nomination.

Awards Committee Unveils Simplified Submission Process

For 15 years, NASC has celebrated the excellence of its members with annual NASC Member Awards, giving members an opportunity to share their success stories and be recognized for the wonderful accomplishments of their organization and staff. NASC Member Awards are the highest honor an organization or individual in the sport tourism industry can receive.

The Awards Committee has spent the last several months modifying the required submission criteria and has moved toward a much more simplified award submission form, which requires an 800 word explanation of the program or event for which a member is applying to encourage increased participation.

Organizational Award Categories
In previous years, organizational awards were open to Active members (destinations) only.  For the first time this year, an organizational award is open to recognize the Allied member of the year. View categories.

Individual Award Categories
Great people make a dramatic difference in the sport tourism industry. Exceptional leaders inspire others, set the pace for performance, and nurture success. The NASC seeks to recognize these outstanding leaders in the industry. View categories.

To be considered, entries must be received no later than February 1, 2016. Submit an entry.
