Sports ETA CEO Appointed to International Association Board of Directors

CINCINNATI (July 16, 2020) – Alan Kidd, President & CEO of Sports Events & Tourism Association (Sports ETA), was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the International Association of Event Hosts, which represents sports tourism organizations from around the world.

The International Association of Event Hosts (IAEH) exists for representatives of international destinations to collaborate together to generate the best possible value from hosting major sporting and cultural events and provide a voice for not-for-profit hosts of events.

Kidd has served as President & CEO of Sports ETA for the past three years leading the only trade association for the sports events and tourism industry, which provides education, advocacy, and networking opportunities for its membership. Kidd joined Sports ETA in April 2017 bringing more than 35 years of advertising, sales, marketing, venture capital investing, risk management, executive leadership and non-profit experience to his role with the association
