The Snohomish County Sports Commission has created an initiative to honor its county high school senior student-athletes. The initiative will honor all student-athletes no matter the sport. There are many student-athletes from baseball to golf, club lacrosse to club gymnastics, and many more sports who are not able to practice and play the sports that they have worked so hard over the last year due to the Coronavirus crisis. Take a look at their campaign, "SnoCoSports High 5's" below:

SnoCo Sports High 5 Stories

As many high school sports, collegiate sports and club sports have been paused during these unprecedented times, the Snohomish County Sports Commission has created the SnoCo Sports High 5 to recognize the student athlete’s accomplishments.

We are calling these accomplishments “SnoCo Sports High 5’s”

Sports are an integral part of our community. Our young sports players and teams practice every day honing their skills, coaches are encouraging and inspiring the athletes, parents are ensuring their son and/or daughter are eating right, getting plenty of sleep and driving them to practices and games, and the family and friends are at the games cheering on these athletes.

The Sports Commission team is delighted to be recognizing the athletes and giving them “Virtual High 5's”.

Keep it up Snohomish. Together, we are #SportsTourismStrong.
