Michelle Wessels rejoined the Sports ETA team in March 2020 as Business Services Manager, after previously interning with the organization from 2015 to 2017. She was promoted to Director of Membership & Engagement in March 2023, and then to Senior Director in July 2025. In her current role, Michelle leads membership recruitment and retention strategies, develops and implements engagement initiatives, and fosters strong relationships to enhance the member experience. She also oversees member services, manages event registrations, and collaborates with internal teams to streamline processes and ensure the successful execution of Sports ETA programs and events.

Michelle earned an Associate of Administrative Management Technology with a focus on Meetings and Events in 2015, and a Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies with a specialization in Applied Administration in 2016, both from the University of Cincinnati.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeremy, and their two children, Brooklyn and Owen. Whether it’s outdoor adventures, family movie nights, or exploring new destinations, she values creating lasting memories with her loved ones. She’s also an avid Indianapolis Colts fan, so don’t be surprised if you see her cheering in the stands on a Sunday game day!
