Meagan Grau is the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications, where she leads the association’s marketing, communications, and strategic initiatives. A dedicated member of the Sports ETA team since 2012, Meagan has served in a variety of roles that have shaped her deep knowledge of and passion for the sports events and tourism industry.

Her journey began as an intern supporting membership services while completing her degree in Strategic Communication (with a minor in Marketing) from Miami University. She quickly advanced to Member Services Coordinator, then returned to Sports ETA in 2018 after a stint as Director of Marketing for a Cincinnati insurance company. Over the years, Meagan has overseen member services, engagement, and marketing, earning a reputation for creativity, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to telling the industry’s story.

Promoted to Senior Director of Marketing & Communications in 2025, Meagan now continues to champion the association’s mission, guide its brand, and create opportunities for members to connect and thrive.

When she’s not crafting campaigns or cheering on the industry, you’ll find Meagan in her garden, savoring a good glass of red wine, or spending time outdoors with her family. She and her husband, Ryan, live in Cincinnati, OH, and keep busy with their three active boys — Jackson, Lucas, and Nolan.
