What is a reverse tradeshow?
Our reverse tradeshow allows industry partners to meet with sports destinations and sports event owners during individual appointments based on their requests, as well as additional factors. Industry partners take appointments with sports destinations at their booths. Appointments with sports event owners occur at the sports event owner’s designated space in the exhibit hall. Appointments are 8 minutes with 1-2 minutes to travel between appointments. A bell rings at the beginning and end of each appointment.
Why am I required to stay at Harrah's and why do I have to book my hotel room before registering for the Symposium?
Harrah’s is the official team hotel — everyone, including Rights Holders, will be staying there. That means more networking, more spontaneous connections, and more opportunities to create a sure bet. Not to mention the unmatched convenience of direct access to our meeting space. Booking at Harrah’s also means you’re helping to fill our hotel block, avoiding penalties so we can keep your membership dollars focused on supporting you!
Without a valid hotel confirmation number (Pipe-ID), a $1,000 surcharge is added to your registration -- so be sure to book your hotel room first, and then register for Symposium!
You are able to book multiple hotel reservations at one time - each reservation will get its own unique confirmation number that can be used when registering for the Symposium.
How much does registration cost?
Registration rates vary depending on membership status and the number of attendees your organization sends. Industry Partners are required to exhibit in order to participate in appointments with sports destinations and sports event owners. Industry partners who do not wish to participate in appointments should register at the attendee only rate.
The last day to register at the prices listed below is April 3, 2026. After April 3, 2026, appointments cannot be guaranteed and registration rates increase $500.

Exhibitor Services
All confirmed exhibitors will receive an email from our Exibitor Services Contractor with information on how to access the Exhibitor Manual and their exhibitor ordering portal.
Why do I have to pay a membership fee? Other conferences and tradeshows only charge a registration fee.
Unlike other tradeshows you may have attended, Sports ETA Symposium is the annual meeting for a not-for-profit trade association. Membership fees are required to gain access to many meaningful benefits, including the opportunity to take appointments at our annual meeting. Membership fees are a nominal investment and exhibit your commitment to the sports events and tourism industry.
When does the appointment portal open and close?
The appointment portal will open on February 23, 2026. The first registered attendee from your organization will be notified via the email used during registration when the portal is open. The portal will remain open to request, accept, decline, and rank appointments. The portal will close on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST.
