Caryn has been with Visit Salt Lake in numerous capacities over the last 15 years. She began her career with the bureau as a sales administrator. However, Caryn’s passion to provide a high level of support with clients led her to a larger role within the services department. In early 2021, Caryn was elevated to Director of Sports Services, Promotions, and Athlete Experiences for the newly established Sports Salt Lake division. And in October of 2022, she was again elevated to Managing Director. Under Caryn’s tenure, Sports Salt Lake is now recognized nationally for their outstanding achievement in providing services to incoming sporting events. Visit Salt Lake also recognized Caryn with the first ever S.A.L.T. employee of the year award, which highlights the top employee that provides outstanding Service, Accomplishment, Leadership, and Tenacity. Caryn currently serves as chair on the Employee Action Committee for Visit Salt Lake and is widely known in the company for her leadership amongst fellow employees.
