Ed Hruska

After serving as a board member for the Rochester Amateur Sports Commission (now called Rochester MN Sports) he was named Executive Director of the organization in 2003 where he built up the organization to five FTE hosting over one hundred events annually and was proud to see it be named NASC Sports Commission of the Year in 2010 and 2015. Born and raised in Rochester MN, a city of a bit over 100K residents, is the home of the World Famous Mayo Clinic, which employees ~35,000 area residents, Ed was involved in numerous boards and commissions over the years. He was elected to the Rochester City Council in 1996 and served until 2018 when he chose not to run for re-election. A past member of the NASC Board of Directors and Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission, he is now working in a part time role helping the City with facility planning and development.
