Maria Mwangi is the CEO of Warehouse215 and President of WISE Arizona, an award winning hospitality and events executive known for transforming spaces into powerful experiences where people feel seen, valued, and connected. With more than two decades of leadership experience, Maria combines financial discipline, operational strategy, and human centered leadership to build thriving venues, strong teams, and meaningful community impact.
Her career began in financial services as a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer and later as a VA Mortgage Underwriter for USAA.
There she developed a strong foundation in forecasting, risk analysis, and strategic planning, skills that continue to shape her leadership and business growth today.

Maria later transitioned into hospitality leadership where she helped position Warehouse215 as one of Phoenix’s premier destination venues. Her leadership has earned national recognition including HSMAI CEO/GM of the Year in 2025 and Venue of the Year honors from both NACE and MPI.
Behind her professional success is a deeply personal story of resilience. After the loss of her husband Ken, Maria continued building her career while raising her two sons and rebuilding her life with courage and purpose. Her commitment to sobriety and personal growth has become an important part of the message she shares from the stage.
A proud mom to two boys and a spirited Yorkie named Muffin, Maria believes leadership is about more than titles. It is about creating spaces where people feel they belong and have the courage to stand fully in who they are.
