Kick off your first Symposium experience with a warm welcome and a strong start. The First Timers Social & Info Session brings together new attendees, members of our Mentoring Community, and representatives of the Sports ETA Board of Directors for an engaging, relationship-building session designed to set you up for success.
Led by the Mentoring Community Co-Chairs, Lance Fite (Visit Mesa) and Rachel Rogers (Cobb Travel & Tourism/Cobb Sports Alliance), and the Young Professionals Community Co-Chairs, James Adler (Buffalo Sports Commission), Paul Sheehan (Cabarrus County Convention & Visitors Bureau), and Bre Martinez (Corpus Christi Sports Commission), the program will open with introductions and a brief welcome from our sponsor before diving into how Sports ETA supports newcomers—helping you navigate the week, build connections, and make the most of your time at the Symposium.
You’ll then receive instructions for our interactive Symposium Game—a fun way to explore Caesars Forum with purpose. Attendees will visit designated stations throughout the venue to get acquainted with key locations such as general session spaces and education breakout rooms. At each station, participants collect a playing card. Once you’ve built either a Full House or Four-of-a-Kind, you’ll be eligible to win a prize.
