Triathlon has the unique challenge of requiring venues that can support swimming, biking and running all in one location. Large triathlons, like the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships, one of the largest triathlons in the world, have many unique venue requirements, making finding the right venue extremely difficult. Cody Crowther, Events Manager at USA Triathlon, will cover what it takes to host a major triathlon and what CVBs and venue managers should be looking at when considering hosting a swim-bike-run event of any scale.
