Colin Smith

Colin Smith is the Director General of the International Skating Union (ISU), a position he has held since January 2024.
Before joining the ISU, Colin was Chief Tournaments & Events Officer and COO World Cup at FIFA, where he was responsible for the planning and delivery of all FIFA tournaments and for creating a new operational model that strengthened value for key stakeholders.
His earlier career includes senior operational and business development roles at UEFA, the European PGA Tour, and the UAE Pro League Committee.
With more than two decades of international leadership experience in the global sports industry, Colin combines strong commercial expertise with a comprehensive understanding of the operations and governance of international federations.
A British/Irish national, he has lived and worked across several regions of the world and is now based in Switzerland.
