Alison Cormier
Organization:Southern Nevada Mountain Bike Association
Alison is the Vice President of the Southern Nevada Mountain Bike Association. She has lived in Las Vegas for 45 years so she has seen all of the growth that has occurred, including the growth of the mountain bike trails. She joined SNMBA with the hopes of helping to create a cohesive mountain biking community, bridging the gap between the local riders and the land managers. Her 30 year career as a paralegal has helped her understand how to navigate complex matters like grant applications, permit processes and land management issues. Alison has been an outdoor recreation enthusiast for most of her life. She hikes, bikes, trail runs, kayaks, and has completed 15 triathlons over the last 15 years. As an avid mountain biker and trail runner, her favorite triathlons were the off-road Xterra events.
