A passionate advocate for tourism, community development, and outdoor recreation, she leads initiatives to promote Bentonville as a premier travel destination while enhancing the city's quality of life for residents.
Kalene's commitment to advancing the tourism industry in Arkansas is evident through her appointment by the Governor to the Arkansas State Parks and Tourism Commission. Additionally, she actively contributes her expertise as a board member of several organizations, including the Southeast Tourism Society, Arkansas Hospitality Association Travel Council, Arkansas Association of Convention Visitors Bureaus, and multiple local organizations in Bentonville.
Her dedication to the tourism industry and her community has earned her numerous accolades, including the 2022 Tourism Person of the Year award, recognition as a 40 under 40 honoree by the Arkansas Business Journal, and the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal C-Suite Award.
