Jonathan Paris is the Executive Director of Sports Tourism at Visit Myrtle Beach, where he leads efforts to attract sporting events and tourism along the Grand Strand. Over the past seven years, he has helped grow the destination’s sports tourism through strategic event support, new event development, and targeted marketing—efforts that earned the region Sports ETA's 2024 Sports Tourism Organization of the Year. Prior to Myrtle Beach, Jonathan was Director of Events at Austin Junior Volleyball in Texas, managing major USA Volleyball tournaments, and began his career with the Massachusetts Sports Partnership in Boston, where he served as Executive Director and led sports tourism efforts across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
