Ben Snyder
Organization:Greater Grand Junction Sports Commission
Ben has served as the Executive Director of the Grand Junction Sports Commission since 2020. During his tenure, the Sports Commission has created and operated numerous new events while continuing to attract national-caliber events to western Colorado.
Originally from central Pennsylvania, Ben gained experience in minor league baseball and collegiate athletics before transitioning to the sports tourism industry. From 2015 to 2020, he led Corporate Games USA as a rights holder, where he created corporate health and wellness multisport events across the country.
Under Ben's leadership, the Grand Junction Sports Commission has experienced significant growth. Notably, Grand Junction was recently selected to host the USA Cycling Collegiate National Championships for four years starting in 2025, and the World Wake Association's wakeboarding National Championships in 2025.
Ben attributes the outdoor recreation opportunities for his love of western Colorado and is regularly on the trails with his dogs, cycling, or skiing.
