Ryan Sheridan

Mr. Sheridan leads the analyst team and conducts market and submarket analytics, economic and demographic research, comparable and competitive profiles, and stakeholder interviews for a variety of Hunden project types including major and minor league arenas and stadiums, youth sports facilities, mixed-use developments, entertainment facilities, and recreation studies. He has led studies for clients in Chicago; San Antonio and Houston, Texas; Indianapolis, Indiana; Cincinnati, Ohio; Orlando, Florida; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and dozens of locations throughout Kentucky. 

Ryan is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington where he received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Analytics. During his four years, he was a member of the Hutton Honors College and continued his studies for a semester in Barcelona, Spain, at the Universitat de Barcelona. Prior to joining the Hunden team, Ryan worked for a single and multi-family developer in his hometown of Rochester, New York. He also worked for Nestlé Coffee Partners in their Seattle office, where he evaluated and improved the efficiency of their SKU portfolio.

Donald Dethlefs FAIA has built a reputation as one of the premier designers of arena and entertainment venues in the nation. Don understands that an economically viable facility must have the capacity to host athletic events, yet also requires the flexibility to accommodate a variety of other functions throughout the year. He is intimately familiar with the needs of the spectators and facility users and works to ensure that each venue accommodates each diverse group of patrons. Don’s specialized understanding of this project type and the impact these buildings and the surrounding developments can have on a community’s quality-of-life has led to designs that are widely recognized for their positive influence, including the Allentown PPL Center and Arena Block which won a ULI Global Award for Excellence. He has been personally involved in nearly every one of the firm’s 60+ arena projects. Don was the managing principal on the WeStreet Ice Center project.
