Born and raised in Las Vegas, Lauren Flint serves as the Senior Vice President of Operations for Las
Vegas Grand Prix, Inc., where she oversees all operational functions that bring the internationally
celebrated event to life in her hometown. Dedicated to ensuring the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN LAS
VEGAS GRAND PRIX is a safe, successful and seamless experience for the entire community, Flint
oversees key functional aspects of the annual race, including event operations, race operations,
experiential operations and construction operations.
Flint holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). While attending university, Flint worked as a student brand manager for Red Bull, where she developed a passion for creating experiences for brands.
After earning her degree from UNLV, Flint became a Production Coordinator for the Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival – a renowned event held in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas that features marquee musicians, chefs, artists and speakers who inspire people to conquer their fears and chase their dreams. She quickly rose through the ranks, eventually serving as Vice President and Festival Director from 2020 to 2023.
In January 2023, Flint joined the Las Vegas Grand Prix as Senior Director of Event Operations ahead of the inaugural race. One year later, she was promoted to Vice President of Event Operations, where she led critical event functions including all event safety, security, transportation, exterior operations, pedestrian pathways, credentials and access control. Most recently, Flint was promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations in February 2026, expanding her role to encompass all operational aspects of one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events.
With her deep roots in Las Vegas and a proven track record in the events industry, Flint brings a wealth of expertise to the Operations team at Las Vegas Grand Prix. She is proud to play a key role in organizing one of the biggest events that the city has ever seen.
STEVE HILL
CEO/President
Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority
Steve Hill is the Chief Executive Officer and President of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), the destination marketing organization that promotes and attracts tourism, conventions, meetings, sports, and special events to Las Vegas and Southern Nevada. The LVCVA also owns and operates the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), the premier destination for meetings and conventions in the United States.
Mr. Hill also serves as chair of the Las Vegas Stadium Authority. He was integral to the relocation of the Las Vegas Raiders, the Athletics, and the resulting construction of Allegiant Stadium and the A’s Ballpark. The Stadium Authority owns and has oversight of both venues.
Under Mr. Hill’s leadership, the LVCC completed its $1 billion West Hall expansion in 2021, followed by a $600 million renovation of the legacy campus in January 2026. He also helped bring The Boring Company’s innovative underground system, the Vegas Loop, to the LVCC in 2021. Mr. Hill remains actively involved in expanding the system throughout the Las Vegas Valley. In addition, Mr. Hill oversaw the LVCVA’s acquisition of the 3.9-mile Las Vegas Monorail in 2020.
Mr. Hill, together with resort partners and community leaders, has secured marquee events including Super Bowl LVIII, the 2027 College Football National Championship, the NCAA Final Four in 2028, and the annual Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, leading to Las Vegas becoming known as The Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World.
Mr. Hill moved to Las Vegas in 1987 to start Silver State Materials. He co-owned the company until it was purchased by CalPortland in 2008. In 2011, he helped form and was later appointed director of the newly established Governor’s Office of Economic Development by Governor Brian Sandoval, where, during his tenure, he assisted in bringing numerous businesses to the state, including Tesla’s Gigafactory in northern Nevada, Apple, Barclaycard, and Google.
