John Norris
John has been with the PGA Tour for 20 years. In his current role as Executive Vice President, PGA TOUR Events, John oversees all PGA TOUR events, both Operated and Non-Operated. The PGA TOUR Events team serves as the primary liaison between the TOUR and its interests, and the host organization that operates each tournament as well as leads the Operated event team. These interests include but are not limited to strategic planning, long range financial planning, revenue generation, player and fan experience, charity, legal and finance, and overall operations.
John previously held the position of Vice President, Business Development, PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties, TPC Network. His responsibilities included revenue and business development across all TPC properties; operations for TPC Resort and Daily Fee properties; TPC License development and relationships, and Food and Beverage for the entire network.
Prior to joining the PGA Tour John held the position of Vice President, Operations for Morton’s Steakhouse. He was responsible for overall operations including advertising and public relations and restaurant sales for thirty-five of the companies seventy restaurants, and private dining and catering sales for the entire organization. His restaurants included the US as well as Asia and Canada.
Earlier in his career, John held various roles at The Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, DC including Catering Sales and Restaurant Management.
John graduated from Flagler College with a BA degree in Business Administration.
John resides in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. John‘s wife Coleen owns an interior design firm in Ponte Vedra Beach, and they have two grown sons, JD and Grant, both of whom work in the sports and entertainment field.
