The Center for HumanKindness at The Columbus Foundation is on a mission to inspire acts of kindness and strengthen social connections in our community. Every kind act—big or small, seen or unseen—makes a positive difference for our individual and collective well-being. Kate works alongside donors, nonprofits, researchers, educators, and the community to cultivate a culture of kindness in central Ohio, including leading the facilitation of The Big Table®, an annual day of conversation and community building across the central Ohio region. Kate has worked in the nonprofit community in central Ohio for more than 20 years.
