Dan Stratford

Dan Stratford is a lifelong soccer player, coach, entrepreneur, and digital marketing executive with more than four decades of experience growing the game of soccer and building successful businesses. As the CEO and majority owner of Kick It 3v3 Soccer, one of North America's largest and longest-running 3v3 soccer event organizations, Dan has helped expand the organization into a national brand through strategic partnerships, destination events, licensing, and innovative digital marketing systems. Rather than relying on seasonal promotions, Kick It has built a scalable marketing engine centered on audience ownership, first-party data, automation, and measurable customer acquisition that consistently drives registrations and long-term event growth.

Away from the business side of the sport, Dan has nearly 50 years of playing experience and more than 40 years of coaching experience. He founded his first soccer club in 1990 and has spent his career developing players, creating opportunities for athletes of all ages, and building memorable event experiences that strengthen local soccer communities.

In addition to his work in sports, Dan is the CEO of Stratex Digital Marketing, where he has spent more than 30 years helping organizations across some of the world's most competitive industries—including technology, legal, eCommerce, insurance, telecommunications, home services, and consumer products—build profitable, data-driven marketing systems. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives responsible for more than $200 million in revenue growth, specializing in search marketing, paid media, SEO, analytics, conversion optimization, and customer acquisition.

Dan is also a nationally recognized digital marketing expert witness, providing expert analysis and testimony in complex litigation involving Google Ads, search engines, SEO, Amazon, Meta advertising, affiliate marketing, attribution, digital analytics, and online consumer behavior. His unique combination of executive leadership, hands-on marketing experience, and expert witness work gives him an uncommon perspective on how digital marketing platforms operate, how campaigns should be measured, and what separates successful marketing systems from ineffective ones.

Whether speaking to sports organizations, business leaders, or legal professionals, Dan is known for delivering practical, real-world strategies backed by measurable results. His presentations focus on building repeatable marketing systems that create sustainable growth, increase return on investment, and help organizations own their audiences instead of renting them.

Dan is the proud father of five grown children and grandfather of five grandchildren. Outside of work, he enjoys singing, auto racing, snowboarding, traveling, and spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren.
