Chris McKee is President and COO for McKee Foods of Collegedale, Tennessee. He has been involved in the business as an employee since 1981. McKee Foods is a family-owned business best known for its Little Debbie®, Sunbelt Bakery® and Drake’s Cakes brand snacks. McKee Foods’ annual sales are over $1.8 Billion, and the company is comprised of seven thousand employees who produce and market the company’s products all across North America.
Chris is from the third generation. His experiences include positions in marketing, sales, transportation, purchasing, research and development, production and human resources.
Past civic involvement includes the boards of the Tennessee Aquarium, Memorial Hospital, Southern Adventist University and the Tennessee State Advisory Committee for The Trust for Public Land. He chaired 2022 campaign for the United Way of Greater Chattanooga. Currently, Chris serves on the board of The Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga and is a member of the Chattanooga Rotary Club.
Chris loves exercise especially when it involves Cross Fit style strength training in the company gym with coworkers, family and friends.
His MBA is from Northwestern University; J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business (’92), and his BBA is from Southern Adventist University (’88).
