"NO PERSON IN THE UNITED STATES SHALL, ON THE BASIS OF SEX, BE EXCLUDED FROM PARTICIPATION IN, BE DENIED THE BENEFITS OF, OR BE SUBJECTED TO DISCRIMINATION UNDER ANY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM OR ACTIVITY RECEIVING FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE."

Sports ETA releases its “State of the Industry” Report for the $91.8 Billion Sport Tourism Industry
FORT WORTH, TEXAS (May 3, 2022) – Sports ETA, the only trade association for the sports events and tourism industry, released its annual State of the Industry Report for 2021 resulting in the sports tourism sector’s direct spending impact of $39.7 billion which generated a total economic impact of $91.8 billion, supporting 635,000 full-time and part-time jobs and generating $12.9 billion in taxes.

CINCINNATI (April 28, 2022) – Sports ETA, the only trade association for the sports events and tourism industry, announced today a new two-year partnership with Civitas, the nation’s leading firm in tourism promotion funding and tourism improvement districts.
The agreement will encourage collaboration between both organizations to provide new joint research, education, and regular industry content sharing. The partnership focuses on utilizing tourism improvement districts (TIDs) as funding mechanisms for sports-related tourism initiatives and bringing awareness of the importance of sports events in the larger tourism ecosystem.

Appointment schedules for the 2022 Symposium are now available. Only the first registered attendee for your organization has access to view and print your organization's schedule, listed under the appointment portal on the My Account page (Login required).
There will not be copies of your schedule printed on-site. Additionally, there will not be an internet kiosk/printing station available for attendees, as we are limiting all frequently touched surfaces to help keep our attendees safe. Please print a copy of your schedule in advance and bring it with you to Fort Worth.
Alternatively, you can access your schedule from the Sports ETA website or the app by using your mobile device. The app is only available to registered Symposium attendees. A separate email inviting Symposium attendees to download the app will be sent later this week.

The board of directors looks forward to being able to welcome all Sports ETA members to this meeting, not just those in attendance at the Symposium. By going virtual, our time together at the Symposium will be maximized.
As a reminder, only the primary contact listed on your Sports ETA membership account will be able to vote during the meeting. This means that person will be responsible for submitting your organizations vote(s) on proposed bylaw changes and the 2022 proposed Board of Directors Slate during the Virtual Annual General Membership Meeting on April 28.
