Quidditch may not be a sport you know much about, but Laura Porth and the team at U.S. Quidditch is trying to change that.

Laura is the Director of Events & Partnership at U.S. Quidditch. She oversees all aspects of U.S. Quidditch's 8 annual championships, including the bidding process, budgeting, volunteers, and logistics. As well as creating and managing partnership opportunities. Laura says her goal is to bring quidditch to new cities, especially on the west coast.

As for her own personal future, Laura says she loves to travel, host large scale events, and getting to know others in the sports events & tourism industry.

“I really love going to the conferences and seeing and hanging out with everyone,” Porth said. “I especially love the Women's Summit and getting to go to the Women's Final Four, and US Sports Congress and getting to play a round of golf with an LPGA player.”

So you’ll find her traveling the world, playing a few rounds of golf, and when she’s home, playing with her two dogs.
