Board service of the sports events and tourism industry's leaders is vital for the continued growth and success of the NASC. Board members serve as representatives of the NASC's 750 member organizations and help guide the future direction of the Association.

The NASC Nominating Committee is accepting nominations for the following open positions (view job description): 

  • Secretary - Candidate must have previously served on the NASC Board of Directors
  • Four (4) Active member representatives (three-year terms)
  • One (1) Allied member representative (two-year term)
  • One (1) Rights Holder member representative (two-year term)

Submit a nomination.

Timeline

October 15 – Nomination Portal Opens
January 8 – Nomination Portal Closes
January 15 – 31 – Interviews Conducted
February 2 – Committee Call to vote on slate to present to BOD
February  20 – Proposed Slate presented to BOD
February 28 – All nominees notified of selection
March 2 – Notify membership of proposed slate
April 25 - Nominating Committee presents proposed slate for approval at General Membership Meeting
